Communities

Though each Christian has a personal relationship with God, that relationship is not individual or private. The Christian faith is not intended to be lived in isolation. We were made for community; relationship with God and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. The Bible calls us "members of the body" (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) with the expectation that we contribute to the body for the glory of God and the good of His people.

OUR BIBLE STUDY GROUPS & SMALL GROUPS

Bible Study Groups and Small Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Below is a list of all ECC's groups. Please feel free to contact any of them if you have any questions, or are curious about space in their group.

  • God's at War by Kyle Idleman

    Sundays from 9:15am to 10:15am

    Description:

There are gods at war within each of us. They battle for the throne of our hearts, and much is at stake. This is why idolatry is the most discussed problem in the entire Bible. Behind every sin struggle that we have is a false god that is winning the war in our lives. Don't give in to the myth that gods are only statues that people of other cultures or long ago worshiped. Pleasure, romance, sex, money, and power are just a few of the gods that vie for our allegiance in today's society. Kyle Idleman  explores these gods. When the Lord God takes His rightful place on the throne of our hearts, we will have victory.
